"It profits me but little that a vigilant authority always protects the tranquillity of my pleasures and constantly averts all dangers from my path, without my care or concern, if this same authority is the absolute master of my liberty and my life."

One More Reason Why College Isn't Worth It

If you spend any time at all actually listening to the college kids who are "occupying" Wall Street, you realize that these protesters are clueless morons upon whom education has been entirely wasted.   Here's one guy who wants the "rich" to pay his college tuition:

And here's another one, who is actually somewhat scarey in his irrationality:

The world-view of these sad young people is the world-view they have been taught in America's higher education:  (1) it is OK to confiscate money that someone else has earned if you want "stuff"; and (2) the people who have earned money are evil, so stealing from them is noble and good.   Nowhere is there any indication that any of these children understand the fundamental connection between work and wealth.   They would make the rest of us their slaves simply because they don't like to work, and then they would say we're the evil ones.   Sad, sad, sad.
