Girl of the Day - Melanie Griffith
Melanie Griffith turns 54 today. Whenever I do these birthdays, it always astonishes me how old actresses are who I remember from movies I liked when they (and I) were much younger. Griffith's first movie was when she was 17, the classic 1970s noir Night Moves, with Gene Hackman. Needless to say, she looked a little different then:
