Completely obscure, today's Girl of the Day, Diane Lozito, was Bruce Springsteen's girlfriend in the early 1970s, and he used her grandmother's name, Rose Lozito, to get the title of one of his greatest songs, "Rosalita":
Needless to say, her mama didn't like Bruce because played in a rock and roll band.
And her daddy said he knew that Bruce didn't have any money.

Carol Lozito, you look really awful with that blonde hair, like most Italian women who go blonde it doesn't work. I would let your hair become it's natural grey/white color. Your art is ok enough. The blonde thing looks terrible on Madonna, Gwen, Gaga. And they've all had nosejobs too.

I was a close friend of Carol's in 1980, and "Yes", indeed she had "real" blonde hair ! And, once we had lunch, in SF,CA, when she came in to SF from Marin to meet her sister, Diane, for lunch and invited me. Lunch must've have been at the "Rusty Scupper". She knew I worked nearby in that same area at Levis at Francisco and Montgomery near the bay. * Oh, Carol, I also agree with your last "comment". haha Bob ( I lived in Mill Valley at that time )
