"It profits me but little that a vigilant authority always protects the tranquillity of my pleasures and constantly averts all dangers from my path, without my care or concern, if this same authority is the absolute master of my liberty and my life."

Smile of the Day - The Jersey Edition

My thirteen year-old son is a very good rock guitarist for his age, and his hero of the moment is the Boss, Bruce Springsteen.  Opportune time for a Smile of the Day - Jersey Edition:

Springsteen's latest collection of outtakes from the Darkness on the Edge of Town sessions is out, and should be very good.   A Christmas present for the boy?  Maybe, if he's been nice and not naughty.
