Glenn Beck's Blaze Media approached the struggling cable news network [Al Gore's Current TV] last year, the Wall Street Journal reports, but was rebuffed because "the legacy of who the network goes to is important to us and we are sensitive to networks not aligned with our point of view."So a Christian Republican American is too distasteful to sell your TV network to, but Al-Jazeera is just fine, so long as the check for $500 million clears. Apparently Al-Jazeera's anti-American viewpoints are more "aligned" with Gore's liberalism.
Instead, Gore went with the Emir of Qatar-funded Arab news channel Al-Jazeera.
Oh, and he pushed to have the deal completed before the end of the year, so he could avoid the new taxes his party and his President pushed for.
Hypocrites. To think this jerk was almost President.
