Today would be Jerome Robbins' 95th birthday. The greatest choreographer on Broadway ever? Well, maybe not... I'd probably still take Bob Fosse. But is Robbins' prologue to West Side Story the greatest dance ever on Broadway or on film? I'd have to say yes.
